Lotus Temple Timings: The Lotus Temple is dedicated to the Bahai faith. It is an iconic structure in New Delhi, inspired by the design of the Sydney Opera House. Lotus temple is famous for its striking lotus-like shape, the temple is composed of 27 free-standing marble-clad petals arranged in clusters of three, creating nine sides with nine entrances. These doors lead to a central hall accommodating up to 2,500 visitors. Open to all, regardless of religious background, the temple invites visitors to experience peace and reflection in a quiet environment. Inside you can observe silence which allows each person to connect with their faith and find inner peace.

The Lotus Temple has earned multiple architectural accolades and has been prominently featured in various publications. While there, you might also drop a coin into the fish pond outside and make a wish. Entry to the Bahai temple is free, and it is open every day of the week from 09:00 am to 05:00 pm. Unlike other temples, no special rituals or pujas are conducted here, as it contains no idols.
