The Creation of Swaminarayan Akshardham
The Swaminarayan Akshardham complex was completed in just five years, thanks to the blessings of HDH Pramukh Swami Maharaj of the Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) and the dedicated efforts of 11,000 artisans and countless BAPS volunteers. This Temple is recognized by the Guinness World Record as the World’s Largest Comprehensive Hindu Temple, this extraordinary complex was inaugurated on November 6, 2005.
