Barasari Meadow : Embark on a trek to Barasari Meadow, located beyond Sharchi Village in Himachal Pradesh. The trail passes through the ancient Jamala Village, which feels like a step back in time. Barsari or badasari meadow serves as the starting point for the trek to Lambri Top (or Lambhri Top) and Jalori Pass.
You can travel to sharchi village from jibhi. The distance between jibhi to sharchi is almost 28 kilometer. The drive will take atleast one and half hour.
You ascend a slope, traversing through fields along a paved pathway that guides you to Jamala Village and onward to the Barasari meadow. This route takes you steadily uphill amidst lush green surroundings, ultimately leading to the Barasari destination.

Moving away from the village, frozen in time, our speed diminished as we leisurely soaked in the sweeping views. Mesmerized by the profusion of mountain flowers dancing in untamed beauty and captivated by a cluster of oak trees, we savored the moment. After a half-hour journey from Jamala, the winding path eventually brought us to Barasari Meadow.
You can stroll to Barasari at a leisurely pace, capturing photos and videos, relishing the experience, and engaging in conversations with the villagers.
Although you perceived it as otherworldly—the expansive meadow encircled by deodars, with towering mountains partially obscured by a gentle haze—you endeavored to envision how this pristine setting would appear in various seasons. Picture apples dangling abundantly from the trees, envision the monsoons casting clouds adrift to the valley, transforming hillsides into a lush green canvas. Imagine the winters, with a blanket of snow enveloping everything, and the arrival of spring, adorning only the mountain slopes with ivory sheets. Here, you can encounter a profoundly tranquil and invigorating calm.
